Radio-frequency microneedling is a gentle, effective technology for texture and tone improvements, as well as skin tightening.
Radio frequency – the technology used in our Scarlet SRF therapy – delivers heat to the tissue below the epidermis, stimulating collagen production and contracting fibers to tighten the skin.
The treatment is gentle, has no downtime and provides an even result. The short-pulse microneedling stimulates dormant collagen growth to promote healthy, smoother skin.
Scarlet RF can be combined with other technologies for even more results.
Aging
Exposure to the sun and birthdays can cause spots, wrinkles and other concerns. Skin remodeling rejuvenates existing dermal fibers to produce collagen and elastin.
Scarring
The collagen boost from Scarlet SRF microneedling encourages your skin to heal, reducing the appearance of acne scars and other skin injuries.
Laxity
The heat from radio-frequency microneedles goes deep into the dermis, helping to strengthen and tighten the skin, resulting in lifting.
Scarlet SRF uses radio frequency (RF) that delivers thermal energy to the deepest layers of your skin via microneedles. The electrodes of the microneedling wand penetrate your outer skin layer and epidermis, sending rapid, gentle pulses of heat into the treatment area. The action promotes collagen growth and healing.
We use a topical anesthetic to make this a pleasant treatment.
Scarlet SRF was originally approved by the FDA for scalp skin tightening, face skin tightening and lifting, double chin, neck and body skin tightening.
Treatment time depends on the location treated. A face treatment takes about 45 minutes.
Optimal results occur with a series of at least three treatments. There will be some improvement with a single treatment.
You can walk out of the clinic after your treatment and return to your daily activities. You may have mild redness for 24-36 hours after the treatment.
Your skin may feel dry or extra tight for several days following your treatment. Be prepared to keep your skin well hydrated with a barrier cream and make sure you drink lots of water. You should avoid exposure to the sun for several days following treatment. If you must be out in the sun, wear sunscreen of at least SPF 50. We may recommend a course of skin care products.
